All pipe connections / crossings on unstable terrain such as faults, landfills, swamps, tank connections and bridge abutments all suffer some degree of damage from ground movement. This movement can be either gradual or sudden, and places damaging shear and bending forces.In areas close to or within structures where differential movement can occur, pipelines should be restrained and supported to isolate and accommodate movement in a controlled manner at a designated location.

    Flexible Expansion Joints provide pipeline protection from the stresses produced by these forces with their ability to deflect up to 30 degrees in any direction while simultaneously expanding or contracting. Our Flexible Expansion Joint is available in sizes from 3 inches through 60 inches and can be used on Ductile, Steel or PVC pipeline. Available in 3" through 60" sizes.
