Yung Yu was founded in 1968 by Mr. Ping Shug, Kuo as a machine factory. At that time, Yung Yu manufactured the facilities of water supply.

As far as 1989, Yung Yu specialized in the manufacturing of Valves & Special joints. The company reorganized to be Yung Yu Special Joint Co., Ltd..

Since 1971, Yung Yu has taken out over 30 patents, and, the Gatecheck Valve has taken out the patents of the U. S. A., Japan, China, etc.. Furthermore,

The Gatcheck Valve won a gold medal at the 1992 Germany International Invention Exhibition. Yung Yu is one of the most innovative Taiwan companies in its field.
